Sadolin Classic wood stain is a versatile coating suitable for both interior and exterior wood protection. The stain penetrates deeply into the wood, deeply impregnating it and protecting it from the weather. Dual Protect technology ensures water resistance while allowing the wood to breathe. It is most often used to protect benches, railings, and other cladding. It also works great for protecting doors and windows.Sadolin Classic wood stain is applied in two layers. Allow 16 to 24 hours between coats. Once the impregnation is complete and dry, we recommend using a final layer of Sadolin Extra, which will serve as a protective layer. Sadolin Classic, in combination with Sadolin Extra, offers complete protection for wood against weathering. The active ingredients protect the coating from fungi.Sadolin Classic can also be used as a stain on interior floor or wall coverings and furniture. After using Sadolin Classic, the covering or furniture can be finished with a clear, polyurethane varnish for parquet or furniture.The stain does not need to be thinned and is ready to use. It can be applied with a brush or roller. Do not apply the stain if rain is approaching or if the air humidity is higher than 80%. The optimal temperature for application is between 8 °C and 25 °C.For good adhesion of Sadolin paint, the wood must be well cleaned and degreased. The recommended wood moisture content is below 18%. Before starting work, we recommend a test application on an invisible area or a scrap part. Always mix Sadolin paints and glazes well before use to ensure even color.
